CANTON: A Stark County grand jury has indicted the former basketball coach and school aide accused of videotaping student-athletes in the boys locker room on eight counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material.

Scott Studer, 46, who coached the Jackson High freshmen team, was arrested in November after investigators searched his home and found nude images on a DVD, a laptop computer and a flash drive.

The assistant chief of the Stark County prosecutor’s criminal division says Studer could be sentenced to up to 64 years in prison if he’s convicted of all charges.

Calls to Studer’s home Wednesday were not answered. A call to his attorney was not immediately returned.
