Kent State University at Stark will once again host the annual Balloon Classic this weekend. Starting Friday, the event will also include more than 60 colorful hot air balloons, food vendors and fireworks.

Each morning the balloons will be launched into the sky and on Friday evening, the balloons will be lifted again for a spectacular show titled The Night Glow.

Once again, the Canton Regional and Jackson-Belden Chamber of Commerce and the Pro Football Hall of Fame will sponsor the free event. The balloon classic kicks off many events for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival.

The food fest begins at 4:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at the Kent/Stark campus located on Frank Avenue in Jackson Township.

There will be children's activities including inflatables, arts and crafts and entertainment. A variety of food will be available, including corndogs, gyros, pies, stomboli, turkey, fries, ice cream, wings and plenty more.

Fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. on Saturday night.
