If you are in the mood for good, authenic italian food, then look no further then Antonio's Restaurant which opened today, July 12th.  Antonio's is located at the corner of Woodlawn and 20th Street in Jackson Township.  This is the 2nd location for Antonio's.  They have another restaurant in Perry Township.  Antonio's has been in business for over 3 years and it is owned by Tony and Kalene Amendola.
"We decided on another location and picked this corner because we are close to Belden Village but still in a residential area.  We like being the neighborhood place.", said Kalene Amendola.
Antonio's prides itself in offering authenic italian food.  Tony Amendola was born in Italy and makes sure that all the food is homemade.  Amendola says, "We don't do any advertising.  Most of our customers come back and we get all of our new customers by word of mouth."
Customers come in mostly for the Italian Beef Sandwich which is Antonio's version of the Philly Steak Sandwich.  "We sell out of the Italian Beef nearly everyday.", said Amendola.
Antonio's also offers other italian fare, such as pizza, pasta, and salads.  They are opened Monday to Saturday from 10AM to 9PM and offer take-out as well as a dine in section.
