Jackson Township library branch to host various events for kids this month

JACKSON TWP.: Children's librarian Teri Bendekgey of the Stark County Library Jackson Township branch has announced several summer activities for both kids and adults.

Story Art: Children in grades kindergarten through the fifth grade are invited to learn about symbols used to create stories on July 11. The workshop for children in kindergarten through second grade will be held from 10 to 11 a.m.; students in third through fifth grade will have their workshop from 2 to 3 p.m.  

Magic Workshop: Magician Jeff Conley will host this program for children to learn great magic tricks. The program will be held for children in the third through the fifth grade from 2 to 3 p.m. on July 22 and July 29.

Kids App Time: Want to find apps appropriate for children on your iPad? This program will showcase the various options from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on August 7.

e-readers for Kids: Discover how to download free books with an e-reader. This workshop will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on August 8.
