The Kent State University at Stark will host a nursing program information night at 6 p.m. on Tuesday in the fine arts building, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township.

During this evening, participants will learn how to apply and prepare for the program. Incoming students will also be able to tour the campus and meet with an academic advisor.

According to the university’s website, as members of the nursing program at Kent, students are given clinical experience through local health care and extended care agencies. The nursing lab enables students to learn and practice nursing skills and procedures. The Stark campus is home to Ohio's largest nursing program and is the sixth largest nursing program in the United States.
