Preparations are under way for the 2013 Jackson Township Farmer's Market. The market will be held at the Jackson North Park on Thursdays starting in July. The hours for the market are from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Products available for sale this year will be fresh, unprocessed fruits and vegetables, bakery products, flowers, plants, bulbs and seeds.
Vendors may begin to apply for a space. Fees include a $25 annual registration fee and $10 per space per weekly market. Each space size is 12' by 12' and vendors must provide their own chairs, tents, canopys and electric.
Vendors are also expected to place a sign on their table identifying the name of their farm or business. All products sold at the farmer's market must be locally grown.
Vendors are also expected to set their own prices, keep their areas clean and assist in promoting the farmer's market.
If you are interested in becoming a vendor or if you have any questions about this year's market, please contact Mary Reno at 330-832-7416.
